Introduction
Radeon 5000 series graphics cards are a recently announced AMD / ATI and for the very first time in several years, AMD / ATI (hereinafter only AMD) is back in the water performing. Nvideo will announce its new generation of graphics cards, and soon, but no date has been set, and very little information about it was leaked to the media.
Just a few weeks back Intel announced 5850 and 5870 graphics cards, which were very well received in reviews and by consumers. I have Acer 5850 review of the cards themselves.
Just a few weeks after AMD release HD 5970 which is a dual GPU card with the code name "Hemlock", a very powerful and expensive cards. You can check reviews on testseek.com on it. Here's the current lineup of AMD:
I've already spoken with the news Radeon 5000 series in my Asus HD 5850 review so I'm not going to repeat all over again. Suffice it to say, the new generation has some major new features. First, the chips are made in the new 40nm technology, which promises lower power consumption and less heat. Second, the technology ATI Eyefinity allows you to connect up to three monitors on each card, which means a total of 6 monitors in CrossFireX. Other important features are the ATI Stream (GPU acceleration), Open CL (API for parallel processing GPU-CPU) and DirectX 11 support.

First impressions: 5750 Sapphire Vapor-X 1GB DDR5 HD
on the box highlights the Sapphire Vapor-X technology and all new AMD technology discussed above.
card is secured in a cardboard box and close the usual anti-static plastic bag.
included accessories are: manual, CD with drivers and utilities, applications, "ArcSoft SimHD" Dirt2 coupon to download the games (supporting DirectX 11), 2 to 6 pin PCIe Molex power adapter cable, DVI-VGA adapter and CrossFireX bridge.
in detail: Vapor-X SAPPHIRE HD 5750 Vapor-X 1GB GDDR5
card I really looks impressive with its large cooling solution. I have seen plenty of 5750 models from the manufacturer and the Sapphire card comes up.
cooling solution takes up a dual slot which can be a disadvantage, because the card must be rated as a mid-range cards, and many users prefer a card slot in this segment. AMD / ATI sets the overall rules from which manufacturers can build their own cards and they often leave a very small margin which I think must be the reason why I still see a 5750 card slot.
technology uses a cooling system Vapor-X has its roots in the aerospace industriji.Rashladne fluid (in this case water) becomes a vapor on a hot surface (GPU) and the result of vapor condenses when it comes into contact with colder surfaces, which is converted into liquid and vapor again returns to the hot surface again and so the process is repeated. Sapphire claims to Vapor-X system is much more effective than the reference cooling system, up to 7 degrees.
in his right hand, less heat means less noise. This is another characteristic of Vapor-X system.
In order to assist the Vapor-X cooling system fluid that circulates inside, Sapphire has installed a 80mm fan that is perfectly integrated with the black plastic cover. One of the plastic cover has a Sapphire logo that glows blue when the system works. Check the pictures below to see what I'm talking about.
"Black Diamond", condensers, which has caused some buzz in the industry are on this kartici.Aluminija polymer in these capacitors is superior to the one used in a "normal" aluminum capacitors. According to Sapphire, and capacitors are 25% more energy efficient than normal capacitors.
card has an additional 6 pin PCIe power connector as you can see from the pictures below.
5750 CrossFireX really has two connections, but because of the inefficiency of Catalyst drivers, it is not advisable to install more than two cards.
memory units are visible on the PCB of the card. They have four quality Hynix GDDR5 chips.
There are four video outputs on this card, two standard DVI-I, HDMI and DisplayPort. That should satisfy the needs of most users. The card is only 185 mm which fits in most cases.

BENCHMARKING TESTS
Unfortunately I got this card a bit too late to be able to test on my old test system on which I made a lot of graphics card testing. That means I have to comment on the numbers without any real reference to the results of old tests. I'll try to be as objective as possible.
It's no secret that Adeus cards are often surprisingly high results in Futuremark benchmarking software (3D Mark 06 and 3D Mark Vantage). This time was no exception as you can see from the graphs above.
Unigine test DirectX 10 and Direct 11x was interesting for me because I got the same results with tests on the card Asus HD5850 few weeks back. One of the main marketing point of DirectX 11 is that it should be much faster than its predecessor. With the HD 5850 I got the opposite results, and as you can see from the graphs above, the same applies to 5750 cards. Obviously, AMD has a problem here. Hopefully we will see improvements with the release of the new Catalyst drivers.
GAMING I
Radeon HD 5750's performance is spectacular. It is able to maintain a high rate of FPS with all the games in the first series. He had no problem when I was improved resolution and included filtera.Činjenica that includes 1GB of GDDR5 with a bandwidth of 108 Gb / s should be what ultimately leads to the smoothness of the games going, even with filters on.
GAMING II
In a second battery, a game that involves the most demanding games, limits HD 5750 comes to light. Although we can not stop enjoying the game together, it is clear that this is a mid range card. In support of HD 5750 is necessary to say that even an incredibly powerful HD 5850 has had some problems with these games with all settings on max. Given that the HD 5850 has twice the amount of stream processors compared to the HD5750 is fair to say that the HD 5750 is a very powerful card.
overclocking, cooling and power consumption
release HD 5750 brings the power of middle-range segment. So far, I have not said much about its overclocking abilities, but reports from other reviews and forums have been positive. So I was very eager to test the HD 5750 card itself and see the overclocking potential really is as good as what I heard. I can not deny that I was even happier when I learned that I should be able to test the HD 5750 with Vapor-X technology.
Indeed, the overclocking capabilities of this card is high. Check the following screen shot that I got without changing the voltage, but only using the Catalyst Control Center.
Having tested numerous combinations, I got a stable configuration at 860 MHz for GPU and 1345 MHz for memory. This means increasing numbers of defaults of 23% for the GPU and 17% for the memories (the percentage is calculated based on the value of the reference model with 700 MHz for the GPU and 1,150 MHz for memory ).
Vapor-X cooling obviously a fantastic job. In the next chart you can see the temperature when the card is in idle and full load načina.IDLE temperatures were measured after the system has been running for half an hour without opterećenja.Punom load numbers are taken after the system was in full load (using Furmark 1, 7) for half sata.Sobnoj temperature is 17ËsC.
Vapor-X technology clearly is not much to temperatures. It was a long time ago I saw these small number of full-load. I say again;. Vapor-X is doing a great job
Noise is always difficult to talk about because it is very subjective stvar.Ventilatora can be set manually or automatically. During my overclocking fan is set up to regulate and rotated at 50% of max speed. I think the noise made at these levels ceramics perfectly fine, but when it goes above it becomes more noticeable and somewhat annoying.
